  1. I love horse stories, especially with strong women racing. Your review was great, even though you were disappointed in the story. I always enjoy how honest you are in your reviews — you tell it as you see it.

  2. Can I just say I sort of love this review? I’ve never really been too interested in these books though the premises sound like they could be amazing. The characters just all seem sort of… bleh to me. Oh how I wish you said you loved this one because I used to LOVE Wildfire!

    • Oh, Wildfire! Why do all the good shows always get canceled?! I really wanted to love this one. You might still enjoy it if you can look past all the annoying characters and focus just on the horses 😉

  3. Aww…I’m sorry this one didn’t work for you as much as you wanted it to! I can definitely see where you’re coming from though – it’s always difficult to enjoy a book when you’re annoyed by the protagonist and feel that the romance isn’t genuine. Nonetheless, thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts – even if you were disappointed. BRILLIANT review! ❤

  4. i’ve only ever read one of Miranda Kenneally’s book before (and loved it) and ofr the most part a lot of people tend to really ike this series a whole lot! I’m sorry this wasn’t your favourite in the series but HEY hopefuly you enjoy your next read more!

  5. I read Stealing Parker last year, and I really enjoyed it, but I never felt the “need” to read the other books of this series. (I agree, I don’t feel like they’re part of a series).
So sorry to hear you’re disappointed! Now, I’m not sure if I’ll ever read this series again.
    Great review!

  6. Her books are great on one level, being that the main female characters are all girls in what are traditionally male dominated sports or positions, but they seem to all pretty much choose idiots to crush on. They really are young, fluffy contemporaries. Great review.

I'd love to hear from you!
