  1. Erh i knew what you mean. The synopsis sounded interesting but it’s so been there done that, you know? It sucks that there was no real special spice this one had that intised you 😦

  2. I’m so sorry to hear this one wasn’t for you, it really did sound promising. I can’t get into the narrative style of storyline either, it really removes you from the storyline and kind of leaves you feeling emotionless. Awesome review, I won’t be bothering with this one either.

  3. I’m sad to see this was a disappointment. I really can’t decide if I should read it or not. Maybe since it isn’t a long book at some point I’ll grab it from the library, but it saddens me that it isn’t very unique. Anyway, it makes me happy to see that you like The Body Finder books too! I feel like not enough people read them.

  4. Ack. I feel so bad for the characters and I haven’t read the book. I’m sorry you didn’t like them either. It’s ahrd when you don’t connect with the narrators.

  5. Lovely review, Amanda! Sorry to hear that this book fell flat for you. It’s too bad that the characters failed to connect with you. I always have hard time finishing a book with characters I can’t connect with – it’s just so hard to rationalize their actions haha.

I recently bought Girl Stolen, so I’m really glad to hear that you praised it a lot! I previously thought to read it sometime later, but since you gave it 5 stars, I’ll put it on top of my TBR shelf. 🙂 Let’s compare notes later! 🙂

I'd love to hear from you!
