  1. I’ve been wanting to read this one so badly. I think I know what you mean about too realistic charcaters. Sometimes they’re so much like real people it makes it difficult to read. I usually enjoy that kind of thing though. I’ll definitely be checking this one out soon hopefully!

    • It’s a weird thing how a character can be too real, like “sorry but you’re too much like a real person and therefore I don’t like you so much.” LoL, it’s ridiculous but sometimes how I feel. Hope you enjoy this one Jesse! 🙂

  2. I LOVE disaster scenarios! It’s such an untapped YA genre and apart from Ashfall, there doesn’t seem to be many that actually allow readers to live through these natural disasters. I’m so excited to grab a copy, I hadn’t heard of this before. The male point of view leering at girls might get old pretty quickly, but sounds like it really does redeem itself. Awesome review, thanks for putting it on my radar!

    • Disaster scenarios are definitely intriguing but also kind of terrifying. Glad I could share a new title with you 🙂 Definitely don’t let his looking at girls turn you off, once he’s fighting for his life that’s obviously not an issue anymore. Hope you enjoy this one!

  3. I really want to read this one because I love survival stories. Although it didn’t blow you away since you liked it enough to want to read the next one I’m going to give this one a shot. I think I’ll enjoy it, even with the boy getting distracted by girls all the time. 😉

I also love your short review style here!

    • There’s something so emotionally gripping about survival stories. If it sounds like something you’d like I definitely recommend giving it a try! Hope you enjoy it 🙂

    • Your exactly right, as girl readers we’re just used to all the comments about a guy’s muscles, abs, etc. and it doesn’t phase us but it’s always there! That’s when I realized I had no right complaining when things are vise versa. I wonder what guy’s think about this when reading from the POV of a girl main character…

    • You make a good point, guy MC’s can be very refreshing because they are definitely more laid back and worry free. Hope you like this one if you decide to pick it up 🙂

I'd love to hear from you!
