  1. Sorry to hear that you didn’t like this one! I’m in my first year of college and was dying to pick this one up! I kind of find it interesting, when two roommates don’t really like each other, because not ever friendship works out. Thank you for your honest review!

  2. I cannot believe that people cannot even email each other without fighting. That’s too much. So sorry that this book disappointed you so much. Great review 🙂

    • I know right, and it’s not like they emailed everyday even, it was like twice a week or so. The problem was they dumped all this really personal info on each other and then didn’t know how to handle it.

  3. I’m sorry to hear that you didn’t enjoy this book, Amanda! The premise sounds so good, and I love the whole roommate things. It’s too bad that the characters don’t seem to be likeable at least. Inconsistent character really gets on my nerves haha. Hopefully you’re reading a better book right now! Wonderful review! ❤

  4. I was thinking about picking this one up, but not anymore. I don’t think I could take it. Some drama is okay, but roommate drama is the worst. I had plenty of that in college and don’t think I’d want to read a book about it! Thanks for the honest review!

  5. Aww, I’m sorry to see you didn’t enjoy this one! I thought the arguments and conflicts between these two made their friendship far more believable. Moreover, the truth of the matter is that not all roommates are likely to be best friends and regular friendships either run their course after serving a purpose or endure. With these two, I don’t know if they’d endure but they’d certainly have to sustain through college and I think that is made abundantly clear with their complex friendship arc. But, then again, I’m a bit biased when it comes to Sara Zarr. 😉 Wonderful, thoughtful review!

  6. Bummer you didn’t like this one! I’ve only read one book by Sara Zarr and I enjoyed it but it wasn’t one I loved so much I had to go out and read her other books. And this one doesn’t sound like one I would love all that much. I might give it a chance at some point though just to see if I like it. 🙂

I'd love to hear from you!
